Nicole Mcfadden is an outdoor advocate and storyteller.

1: Roots in Nature
I grew up in a rural town in Southwestern Ontario, where high-speed internet arrived late, so adventure came often.

2: Finding Direction
After completing a degree in Journalism from Western University and a post-grad in Digital Media Marketing at George Brown, I took off. A few years, a few continents, and a whole lot of wandering later, I landed in Toronto, where I worked in marketing for a luxury active travel company.

3: People & Planet
Seeking purpose, I joined Parks Canada as a Video Producer, where I’ve had the privilege of crafting stories about nature and conservation while exploring some of Canada’s most beautiful and remote places.

4: Stories Still to Tell
I tell stories of adventure and connection with nature—capturing endurance athletes in wild places, unconventional lives lived outdoors, and conservation science made relatable. Through photos, films, and writing, I aim to inspire people to slow down, step outside, and see themselves reflected in nature.

Think my style is what you’re looking for? Let’s make it happen. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a new adventure, or something in between, I’d love to bring your story to life.
